We conducted competitions to students (8th and 9thStandard) to improve their extra-curricular skills on the eve of Republic Day @ Govt. School, Vivek Nagar, Bangalore. Winners were given coloring sets, Pen sets, English Grammar, Telugu English Dictionary book, puzzle books etc..

We also bought a book "a child's first dictionary" that has all frequent English words that could be used to pick words for "word of the day". We suggested teachers for having "word of the day" written everyday on the school board.
