01-05-2018: Miscellaneous Donor donated a Cow (named as Lakshmi) to him one month ago, it gave birth to a baby Cow (named as Chitti). They are sending Milk to Dairy in the village and getting Rs 3,000 (excluding Cow's food charges), in addition to taking care of Cow his wife is working as a Maid to get Rs. 500, he is getting Government pension of Rs 1,500. They are saving around Rs 3,000 monthly apart from their expenses. They don't need any help from us now.

20-Nov-2015: He visited NN for follow up check up. His vision is improving, Dr suggested medicines for one month and told him to call on coming Friday/Saturday after blood test done to see the progress. He along with his brothers went home around 1AM from Baireddipalle by walking around 2 Km in rain so few bus tickets got wet and tore.

10-Nov-2015: He visited Narayana Nethralaya for check up. Dr observed that vision in both eyes is improved and advised for Blood test again and stopped medicines. Dr came around 2PM to hospital and he saw the patient around 4.30PM, after Dr advice they went to 'Kanva Diagnostic Service', gave sample and waited for 2 hrs to get the report. They reach their village by 1AM in the morning. As they have no buses from Palamaneru to Baireddipalle during night times, traveled in Van. Patient needs two people for his support.

02-Nov-2015: Sreekanth went to hospital around 9AM and met many people to finish the discharge process till 3 PM. He skipped breakfast and took permission from his Manager at office for the delay. Kudos to him for his Amazing efforts.
As Dr promised, he waived off Dr fees. Thanks to Srinivas and Sreekanth for convincing Dr to get concession. Patient has to visit Narayana Nethralaya next Tuesday for follow up, we gave medicines for one month. Patient observed some improvement so hope he will get vision soon.

14-Oct-2015: Doctors @ Narayana Nethralaya did scans, prescribed medicines and asked to visit on 27th for follow up. They will do few more scans and take decision whether to continue medicines or go for operation. The problem is with nerves and there is enough water to get back his sight. If they could have come 6 months ago it would be cured by medicines only.
13-Oct-2015: After consultation, Doctors told him to go to 'Narayana Nethralaya (NN)' for the treatment. As they don't have money, miscellaneous donor sponsored him for preliminary check up. Appreciate our new volunteer Kiran Gudimetla for his timely help to handover the money to the needy at hospital by taking permission from his Manager at office.
12-Oct-2015: He visited Satya Sai Hospital, Whitefield, Bangalore and was asked to come on Tuesday. As he has to be at hospital by 7.30 AM, they came to Bangalore on Sunday evening and slept on pavement near the hospital on Sunday and Monday.

History:This case is referred by RIMRS Special Children School, Palamaneru Director Dr. Sudhakar. The needy is a neighbor to Dr in his village. Doraiswamy, 35 yrs old from Mittapalle, near Palamaneru (2 hrs drive from Bangalore) lost his vision 6 months ago due to some neuro problem. They have spent around one lakh for investigations at Minto and St. John's hospitals in Bangalore, SVIMS Tirupati, Chittoor and Madanapalli. They were informed that due to neuro issue, lost vision. This has to be corrected by operation only. He was earning money by using his Bullock cart for Paddy filed works in his village. He sold his two Bullocks for Rs. 48,000 and took credit on home which has share for his 4 brothers too. They don't have money now to go for further treatment.
