06-Dec-2023: Dora is admitted to hospital for monthly Vincristine and we supported Rs.1356 for Medical Expenses.

06-Nov-2023: Dora is admitted to hospital for monthly Vincristine and we supported Rs.598 for Medical Expenses.

09-Oct-2023: Dora is admitted to hospital for monthly vincristine and we supported Rs.1128 for medicine expenses.

11-Sep-2023: Dora underwent Lumbar Puncture procedure and we supported Rs.1387 for medical expenses.

1-Sep-2023: Dora recovered well and is discharged. We paid Rs.889 for Medical Expenses.

31-Aug-2023: We supported Rs.926 for the medical expenses.

29-Aug-2023: Dora is still in hospital and in getting intermittent fever and hence under treatment. We supported Rs.2083 for medications and treatment.

26-Aug-2023: Dora is admitted to hospital(24 Aug) and is undergoing medical investigations for the high fever. We have supported Rs.4083 for the medical examinations and medical expenses.

23-Aug-2023:  Dora is having high fever and is in hospital for checkup. We supported Rs.743 for her medical expenses.

19-Aug-2023:  Dora is infected with fever an had to be admitted in hospital on 16th Aug. Fortunately, it was common infection due to climatic change and she is discharged on 19th Aug. We supported Rs.2475 for their medical expenses.

Details of the Needy:

Dorra Caroline SM, 6 years younger daughter of Shenbagavel,is sufferring from B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B Cell ALL). she is studying 2nd std in LCVKS school, Kattupakkam,Chennai. Her father Shenbagavel, an auto driver is currently driving Rented Autorickshaw and is earning about 15k to 20k per month. Her mother is a homemaker. Her Elder brother is studying 8th std in same school.

It all started in month of Feb 2023 when she fell sick and the usual medicines didnt work. Further tests like blood tests didnt reveal anything. Later Biopsy was undertaken and was shocked to know that she is suffering from B-Cell ALL. The Doctors suggested that it is in starting stage and has very good curing changes through chemo and medications for 3 years.

Dora's father have sold his Auto Rickshaw for the same of her treatment and started driving rental Auto. Her mother's jewels were also pledged for Dora's treatment expenses. They have received around 11.5k as donations from crowd funding website. They also received around 40k from their friends and family for the child's treatment. Her mother who was earlier working as house maid, now has to be with Dora to take care of her. There is not much support from parent's relatives. Now they are reaching out to known friends to spread the situation and then trying to get some help. Around 3.7 Lakhs was spent for the treatment.

Currently Chemo is done and next chemo is scheduled on 14th Aug 2023. Hosptial's Estimate is around 10-12 Lakhs for the complete treatment. They have reached to us for further medical support for this child.
