Case Updates as of 23 October 2010 :

Doctors said she has heart complication also that came into picture with kidney issue. She was shifted for this reason to ICU and Rs 25,000 was spent from TMAD and rest of Rs 17,000 was collected by them from their village. She is now discharged from ICU but needs special care during dialysis which cost Rs 1,800 per dialysis. RUIA government hospital in tirupati who was earlier giving free dialysis under arogya shree now said that they cannot provide her dialysis because of heart complication. This makes them to go to CMC, vellore for dialysis. So, we also need to pay for dialysis for the girl till transplantation. We are trying to assess the possibility of transplant with the doctors due to this heart issue coming into picture. If doctors say yes, then we may need approx 6-7 lakhs for the operation. I will post those details after contacting couple of doctors. This will be by next week i.e 20th October. I hope we get news about possibility of transplant and so would request all kind hearted to post about this case in all forums and do the needful so that we dont need to wait for funds after doctor confirmation We request donors to come forward and help the girl.

Case Updates as of 17 October 2010 :

The girl had serious trouble today.Doctors advised to admit her to ICU immediately for 4 days which needs a initial deposit of 25,000 rupees. The Per Day cost for ICU is 10,000 rupees. Estimated cost is 40,000 rupees. we got 5,000 rupees from donars. Waiting for 35,000 rupees more. We request donors to come forward and help the girl.

Case Updates as of 10 October 2010 :

The girl had serious trouble today again and was admitted in CMC, Vellore. It costed them Rs 7,000/- which was supported by us. They were not able to even bare the expenses. Such is the poor financial condition of the girl.
A minimum of 6 lakhs is required to start the operation. The cost break is mentioned below.

After lot of efforts and support from various people, we could get dialysis for Priya under Aroghya Shree thus saving a lot of money for them. Though, currently they are relieved, we still are searching for people who can help us raise funds for this case. Looking forward for support from people.

The total donation as on 14 Feb is 40,000 rupees. Out of which 30,000 rupees is already spent for dialysis. Priya will be undergoing dialysis till she gets transplanted. The cost of dialysis for a week is around 7,000 rupees.

At first priya used get fever very oftenly and swellings all over the body. when they approached doctors, they did some tests and confirmed that both the kidneys are completely infected.From then they started looking for support from different hospitals. priya's parents has spent around one lakh on medicines and dialysis for past 2 years.They consulted SVIMS (Tirupathi) and rainbow hospital (hyderabad) under Arogyasri scheme of andhra pradesh. But according to arogyasri scheme only hospitilisation fee is support but not the operation fee. That means first they need to pay 25000 plus operation fee then the hospitalisation fee will come under Arogyasri scheme.The cost of the operation is estimated at 6 lakhs. Their parents sold out their land, jewellary but still they are unable to reach the operation fee. so they are looking for kind support . Please step forward and support the girl and enlighten her life and their family.
