Details:

Master Sashank is a 7 year old deaf child based in Mysore. Mr. V.V.V. Sastry have taken initiative and took them to Madras for evaluation and MRI Scan. The boy is fit for surgery and doctor told that he will gain hearing and speech with the surgery.

They consulted the doctor and told the financial problem and the doctor agreed to get this through charitable trust. From their side, Doctors waived their fees ( Rs 40,000/-). Still Rs 7 lakhs is required towards implant cost and about 60,000/- towards surgery charges.

Times Of India published an appeal, of Sashank's family, on 15/11/2005.
