27-02-2012: Our volunteer visited the hospital and paid an amount of Rs.15, 000 collected from the donors. Our volunteer talked with the doctor, she said that a cyst has been formed at the back side of the neck which is removed by operation and is sent to the test to confirm whether it is related to the cancer or not. Once the reports come they will proceed for the further treatment. Till now the hospital charges are Rs.86, 000 in which the baby's father paid Rs.56, 000 in installments by borrowing from relatives and friends. He told that there is balance of Rs.30, 000 in which we paid Rs.15, 000 which is collected from the donors.

24-02-2012: Our volunteer got a call from the boy's parents stating his condition that, a cyst has been removed from the baby’s body and has to send for the biopsy to conform whether i.e. related to cancer or not, his left hand also got paralyzed so due to his condition he has to be kept in the ICU for few more days. The baby’s father asked some money as he has to pay the hospital charges. He paid some amount by borrowing from his friends.

07-02-2012: Our volunteer went to the hospital to know the details of the baby and also collected the estimation letter from the Doctor for the treatment.

About Problem: Baby was born @ Asha Nursing Home and suffering from respiratory problems since birth. He joined in St. Philomena’s hospital and taking respiratory support now. As per Doctor, he needs to be in ICU for 3-4 more days.

Help required: To pay the daily hospital charges (Rs.5000) and medicines. Total expecting charges will be Rs.30, 000. Baby’s father borrowed money from his friends, deposited Rs.10000 at St. Philomena’s hospital and taking care of daily medicines. Need financial support for
Rs.20,000.

Eligibility to get support from TMAD: He needs to pay the operation charges for Cesarean operation done @ Asha Nurshin Home (Not paid single penny so far). Baby’s mother is at ANH only now. Parthiban has expenses like House Rent, Food, Bus Fare (Austin town to Old Airport road where his boss lives), Power bill and Miscellaneous are Rs.2000, Rs.3000, Rs.1000, Rs.300, Rs.500. He cannot save more than Rs.500 per month. If anyone in the family got any medical problem then he will be in trouble.
