26-06-2014: The operation is not performed as she is suffering from TB which causes breathing problem and for the operation she has to sit for 4-5 hrs so the doctors advised to solve the breathing problem first and then the doctor will fix the operation date for the eye.
23-06-2014: Operation was postponed to 26th June as she has to take some medicines.
01-06-2014: 2nd Operation will be performed on 20th June. Tulsi Merekar's brother reach TMAD for financial support before June 20th, 2014 for second operation.
03-03-2013: Operation discharge summary is now available in the Case reports. The next operation is tentative. May be April or May 2014. We shall update the exact date once Doctor confirms.
13-12-2013: The first operation has been completed successfully on 30-Nov-2013. The second operation date will be scheduled after few weeks depedning on patient's condition. TMAD trasnferred INR 35,000 for this operation
19-11-2013: As tulsi had reaction in operation theatre, the operation has been scheduled for 23-Nov-2013.

History:
Tulsi merekar has the major problem in Eyes and suffering from dimness of vision in both eyes. It is case of Homocysteinemia. She need to be operated and each operation cost Rs 35,000. Out of 3 operations required, 1 operation (INR 25,000) was done by the family and they are unable to do rest of the 2 operations due to financial problems.
Our volunteers Ashish Chouhan and Jyothi Patidar visited patients' house in surat and found that she needs to be operated at the earliest.
She suffers from severe headaches, dimness in vision due to the eye problem. 2 operations are pending and it cost a total of Rs 70,000. She is treated by Dr.Bhavin Jariwala, Surat - 395001, Gujarat, India
