History of the needy: Akash, 10 Yrs old is suffering from Thalassemia major. At 2 months old, little Akash was diagnosed with Thalassemia. He needs blood transfusion for every month. Vani Vilas hospital is providing free blood from the past 10 yrs. Because of transfusion, iron content will be more which leads to health problems like stomach pain and swelling. Need Defregit medicine to remove excess iron which costs around Rs 1000 per month.
Akash has 4 elder sisters; 3 got married and last sister studied till 2nd PUC. He is studying 4th class in Private school nearby home, school gave free admission to the boy on special request. Their house collapsed recently due to rains and looking for support from the Govt for repairs. His parents are staying nearby temple, Akash and his sister are staying at his mother's sister's house at night. Temple and his Aunt's house are close by. Unfortunately, his father met an accident recently which leads to leg fracture. His father undergoing treatment at Vani Vilas hospital @ nominal charges. He will go to work in couple of months.
