19-09-2012: The boy is normal now and is discharged from the hospital. Lokesh (founder of Dvyakrupa orphan home) expressed his sincere thanks to us for the assistance during this process.

15-09-2012: Our volunteers visited hospital and discussed the boy’s condition with the doctor. She said that the boy is affected with malaria; his platelet count is also normal and is shifted to the general ward.

12-09-2012: The boy developed multiple infections so he is referred to Nilofer hospital in Hyderabad so our volunteer went and helped the boy to get join in the hospital.

11-09-2012: The boy recovered after pumping 2 units of platelets, now he has 1.5 platelet count which is around normal range.Being not diagnosed of condition the boy’s health became worse and got infection to brain.

10-09-2012: We got request from Dvyakrupa orphan home saying that a 8 years kid Sai is being sick from 10 days and he is diagnosed with dengue, his platelet count has been dropped to 40k (supposed to be 2.5L or so). As the treatment is not good in the Govt hospital the boy is shifted to the Private hospital and he needs 20k for medical expenses.
They started giving platelets and we said we will arrange the expenses money spoke to Lokesh this morning and now platelets are being given to the kid. I told him, we will adjust the money and to take care of the kid.
When called in the evening they said the boy need to be in hospital for 4 days.
