2011 New Year Celebrations @ RIMRS Mentally Handicapped Children Home, Palamaneru, Chittoor Dt, AP
Sports event was conducted by RIMRS staff on 31/12/10, we started from Bangalore after collecting the clothes from ITI boy’s hostel at morning 8:00 AM and reached Palamaneru at 11:00 AM. After reaching RIMRS, we introduced ourselves to the school staff, children followed by the cake cutting and New Year 2011 celebrations. The students very interestingly participated in drawing, dialogue competitions and prizes, TMAD certificates were distributed to the winners in the competitions. Dances were performed by the students. We distributed biscuits, chocolates, balls, pens, pencils, notebooks and eatable items to the children. We also donated an old music deck to the Director Dr.P.Sudhakar of RIMRS and clothes are also distributed to the students.
Director shared good news to us that Master K.Kiran Kumar & Master G.Ramakrishna has participated in the Dist Level Sports & Games Meet for the Disabled person held on the 20th November 2010 at S.V.Arts Collge Grounds, Tirupathi belongs to M.H.Category Juniors and secures 1st prize in Caroms and 3rd prize in Shot Put. Carom boards were donated by TMAD in the New Year Celebrations-2010.
Time has come to us to leave the children so by saying good bye to them we started for Bangalore at 4 PM.

New year celebrations 2011 @ Nanal Nagar Gov. Boys Hostel, Hyderabad
01-01-2011: All TMAD members gathered by 11am at Nanal Nagar Gov. Boys Hostel for visually challenged students.We called all the students to assemble at one place. Actual hostel strength is 164, but many of them went to native places and outside so we are able to meet only 60 to 70 students.
Hostel warden delivered a welcome message to all and then we started our program as follows:
1. We gave TMAD certificates to the winners and participants in the CHESS competitions held on 19-12-2010 by our Group members
2. Our member Ravishankar addressed the students and appreciated the cricket team who won the National Tournament held at Chennai (from 25th Dec to 30th Dec, States participated in the competition are Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka).
3. Kasyap donated a personal computer to the hostel.
4. Murali donated audio system (speakers) to the hostel.
5. We bought a cake and asked CHESS, CRICKET winners to cut the cake and then distributed the cake to all inmates.
6. We distributed one apple, a chocolate and biscuits to all.
7. We interacted with the students and asked their requirements.
Mainly they asked for sports kits and cd player for recording the lessons in the classes.
