Prasad Charasala proposed this project and most of our members agreed. Initially we thought of a school at Yousufguda Checkpost. Prasanthi visited the school two times and the HeadMistress was co-operative. Due to different reasons, we couldn't take up that school.

Later Karthik visited the Govt. Primary School at Mehdipatnam and the Headmaster, Mr. Naresh, co-operated a lot. We decided to take up this school for this project.

Jairam, Karthik and Srinivas went and bought the slippers in a whole-sale shop in Afjalgunj. The pairs were kept in Jairam's house.

As Jairam was in UK that time, Ravi Shankar joined Karthik in distribution of slippers. Even though they were ready to distribute on time, they were struck up in heavy rain. Some students were absent. They distributed 29 pairs of slippers out of 78.

Prasanthi and Karthik visited Mehdipatnam school and distributed slippers to few students. There was a need for exchange. Sarath and Karthik went for exchange. Headmaster distributed the slippers to all the remaining children.
