Voter Awareness Campaigns
19-04-2009: Holiday on Election Day: Jitu and Pavan Pyda submitted request letter to Chief Election Officer, Karnataka regarding “Holiday on Election Day” not provided by few IT/ITES and Public Establishments. We contacted News Papers (The Hindu, Times of India, Indian Express and Deccan Herald) and Media (TV9, CNN-IBN, NDTV and Times Now) to create awareness regarding this. Our request is telecasted both in TV9 Kannada and News 9 channels. You can find recorded clip in below link.

21-03-2009: Pavan Pyda handed over Form 6 to Thippasandra People
17-03-2009: Pavan Pyda handed over the forms to JNC students. Some girls around 30 are interested to register today. JNC volunteers will take care of their forms filling through online and give their username/password so that they will take care of their print outs. I informed to students, volunteers and madam what are the steps they have to do once they receive form6. Once students submitted their forms, they are going to inform Mrs. Nalini.
14-03-2009: Aprajitha (Winning Aspirations), Hari & Naveen (Manam), Anil BVN, Balu and Pavan Pyda (TMAD) went to Jyoti Nivas College to create awareness on vote and Voter Registration Drive through Jaago Re! Campaign. Hari gave speech. Around 200 girls registered. JNC volunteers Meeze, Ramitha, Roshini, Krithika and Viji are supported us for online filling. Mrs. Nalini Sridharan (Prof. History Dept) supported a lot for conducting this event.
08-03-09: Around 300 Telugu Friends met today at Tippasandra. So many of them have no idea about Voter Registration. We created awareness to them to get Voter ID. 150 people enrolled

07-03-09: We have to get permission from College Principals to conduct sessions regarding Voter Registration through Jaagore. If anybody has friends who are students/staff from any college, please do the needful to get permission.

Eye donation:
We are working with Narayana Nethralaya in creating awareness for eye donation. Krishna Prasad and Pavan had a discussion with NN Director, Dr. Himanshu regarding our activities and interest to participate in Eye donation. He is very impressed and invited us to NN to attend one session on Eye donation. We will visit NN in March.

Blood Donation:
We have joined hands with Rotary TTK at Thippasandra, Bangalore and started donating blood for every three months. We have done 2 phases of the donation. We will will be doing more phases for every three months. We have planned 3rd Phase in April.

Medical Camp:
Dr. B Ramana Rao has been conducting free medical checkups and distributing medicines at TBegur (35 km from Bangalore, near Nelamangala) from the past 33 yrs on every Sunday. His wife and two sons (doctors) are also joined him. His vision is to serve the more and more people in rural areas. We have been volunteering by helping them to distribute medicines. As hundreds of people visit that place, we opted to volunteer and help for the good cause.

Like minded groups meet:
In an effort to do better, We formed a group with like minded NGO NIRMAN, VITHARANA, AADARANA, MANAM, SUGATHI, We Serve People to conduct more activities to help the needy. We start activities with Blood donation and Eye donation camps.

Visit to RIMRS,Palamaner, AndhraPradesh:
We have visited RIMRS and celebrated New Year with the Mentally Handicapped Children by cutting cake and distribution of clothes, fruits, chocolates and sweets. The children felt very happy and enjoyed a lot with us. We spent 3 hrs over there. We collected Rs.10K through selling Greetings and donated the same to RIMRS NGO.

Sai Trust for the Disabled:
15-09-2007: Rajasekar and his friend Preet Pillai visited Sai trust and gave Rs. 5000 for medical camp on behalf of TMAD.
29-08-2007: We got information from Sai Trust, that they are conducting medical camp for blind and poor from 17th to 19th August in M.S.Ramaiah Hospital Bangalore. They also provided Free food and medicines. The expected budget was Rs. 15000.
