A woman lives with her son and daughter. Husband died. Woman does iron in a village near Dilshukh Nagar. Son discontinued after 10th as his father died and he earns about 8k per month. He wants to write Intermediate exam in OPEN University mode.
Daughter completed Intermediate (CEC) with 860 marks. She applied online for a college in B.Com. (Computers).
Spoke with daughter and asked her to discuss with mom and brother and to come back to me. If we can provide her mother any job in any orphan or oldage home, she can get food and shelter and earn money. Due to their constraints, they could not do so. The girl didn't ask me for any help. Whatever they could manage, they did. Finally she approached for college fee. So we paid for the first year degree fee of the girl, Rs. 9000, on 15th April, 2019.
She is supposed to get a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per year. She is about to complete second year of degree still she did not get the first year stipend.
She has to pay second year degree fee and also the exam fee of Rs. 1500. They gave time to pay college fee due to covid situation but she has to pay the exam fee of Rs. 1500 by 5th of June, 2020.
